With over 40 years’ experience in Project Management, Maddison Property Pty Ltd has produced some of Australia’s largest and most iconic buildings. With expertise covering all market segments including residential and commercial, Maddison Property specialises in providing Project Director services for major projects.
Under the control of Bob Maddison, the company has built a strong reputation in the marketplace for managing projects that produce a superior quality of work, within expected timeframes and budget, A Civil Engineer by profession, Bob reached the level of State Manager and Executive Director for Civil & Civic before setting up Maddison Property. Since then, Bob as successfully managed the company from start-up some 20 years ago until today.
James Holtsbaum worked within the major corporates, including; PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, before joining with Bob almost 10 years ago. Now providing the future direction for Maddison Property, James has continued to build on the success and reputation of the business. Having managed a number of major projects from conception to completion, he has considerable expertise and experience of the development and design and construction process. He demonstrates a strong capability to work on a range of different projects and takes on a sense of ownership on behalf of all of our clients. James is very effective at building clear lines of communication with the client, ensuring that he properly understands their needs and objectives on each project. James has Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting/Finance) and a Master of Project Management (Building) with Distinction.
Some of Maddison Property’s better recognised projects are, Rooty Hill RSL Gymnastics and Aquatic Centre, Newtown Square and Dei Cota at Redfern. More recently, Maddison Property has acted as Project Director for Westpac for their new buildings at Barangaroo and 150 Collins Street, Melbourne. These projects provide 60,000 square metres and 12,000 square metres of office space. In residential development Maddison Property is currently Development Manager and Project Manager for One Victoria at Ashfield. Maddison Property has acted in similar roles for more than 500 units. These projects include Newtown Square, Santa Rosa, Potts Point, Bayside, Coogee Pavilion, Coogee and Warehouse 82 at Chippendale.

In 2012, I appointed Maddison Property to act as Project Director for the design and construction for Westpac’s fit out, including; Barangaroo Tower II and Collins Street Melbourne. Bob has done an excellent job and has my highest recommendation as Project Director, capable of delivering large and complex projects.
Since 1st November 2010 when Maddison Property was appointed to act on behalf of RHR Group as Project Manager and have proven to RHR Group a responsive client communication response, mature management of consultants and contractors and strong skills overall adding value and enabling all projects to be completed on time and within budget.
